The Art of Project Management

Nowadays the development of every company often requires designing and executing different short, middle or long term projects. The good Project Management is the key to the successful development of any company. With that respect, Project Management is not merely a science; it is the art of science! With the mastering this art the project managers will be able to increase the success of their projects by completing them on time and according to the budget. Sacrificing the quality, will no longer be required, thus the managers will be able to consequently contribute to the success of the company.

 Overview

The course „The Art of Project Management” covers the Tools and Techniques needed to run projects (Planning, Controlling, and Reporting), and the People-Side (Team Managing, Leadership, Communications, and Motivation).

The trainer uses simple, well tested, management models to enable course participants to remember new skills and competencies and to embrace them as part of the culture in the everyday workplace.

Classic tools will be introduced in highenergy lectures and then utilized in Project Workshops in which participants work in teams to design a variety of Work Breakdown Structures and Gantt Charts for different project situations and conditions.

Trainer: Murat Ozbilen:

Murat Ozbilen is Senior Partner within Business Management Consultants (BMC). He is located in Turkey. With his years of management experience as a Consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Partner at ARGE, and as Country Managing Principal at IBM Consulting Group, Mr. Ozbilen brings clients in-depth, hands-on understanding of business change projects. He has strong experience on developing strategic Project Management systems and culture in FMGC, Banking, Telecom, Manufacturing and IT sectors. Mr. Ozbilen leads public courses in Project, Program, Change Management, and Senior and Executive Project Management. Mr. Ozbilen is fluent in both Turkish and English. Mr. Ozbilen is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI®) and Management Consultant Association. He is also founding and board member of various e-commerce and technology companies. Mr. Ozbilen was awarded by The Institute of Industrial Engineer’s Mitchell Fein – Outstanding Leadership and Profession Award and Sigma Xi, by The Scientific Research Honor Society Junior Researcher Award.
